KiK, registered as KiK Textilien und Non-Food GmbH, is a German discount chain with its head office in Bönen in North Rhine-Westphalia. It opened its first store in April 1994 and sells low priced clothing along with household goods and other non food items. The name is short for Kunde ist König, customer is king. The chain belongs to the Tengelmann group and has branches in Germany and a number of other European countries, among them Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland.
