Kinepolis Group is a Belgian cinema operator with 110 theatres in Europe and North America, which makes it the third largest cinema chain in Europe. The group was formed in 1997 through the merger of the cinema businesses of the Bert and Claeys families, and it is known for the megaplex format, with large screens and many auditoriums under one roof. Eddy Duquenne is chief executive and Joost Bert chairman.
