HB Køge is a Danish football club based in Køge and Herfølge on Zealand, formed on 1 July 2009 out of a merger of the two towns' clubs. It plays at the Køge Idrætspark, a ground of about 8,000 places, and competes in the Danish league. Both predecessors won the Danish championship, Køge in 1954 and Herfølge in 2000, which gives the merged club an unusual double inheritance. It plays in red and white. Its women's team has been among the strongest in Denmark.
