KV Kortrijk is a Belgian football club from Kortrijk in West Flanders, founded in 1971 out of a merger of two of the town's clubs. It plays at the Guldensporenstadion, a ground of 9,399 places, and competes in the Belgian league. The club reached the Belgian Cup final in 2012 and its best league finish is fifth. It plays in red and white. The ground is named after the Battle of the Golden Spurs, fought outside the town in 1302.
