KV Mechelen is a Belgian football club from Mechelen in the province of Antwerp, founded in 1904. It plays at Achter de Kazerne, a ground of 16,672 places, and competes in the Belgian Pro League. The club won the Belgian championship four times and the Cup Winners' Cup in 1988, beating Ajax in the final, followed by the European Super Cup. It plays in red and yellow and is known as Malinwa. Its 1988 side is the last Belgian team to win a European trophy.
