Lincoln City Football Club is an English club from Lincoln in Lincolnshire, founded in 1884. It plays at Sincil Bank, a ground of 10,669 places, and competes in the English league. In 2017 the club became the first non-league side in over a century to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals, and it won promotion back to the Football League the same season. It plays in red and white stripes and is nicknamed the Imps, after the carving in Lincoln Cathedral.
