The Norwegian stores belong to NorgesGruppen, which also holds a 49 percent stake in the Danish group Dagrofa that runs the chain in Denmark. About 187 stores trade under the name in Norway, while the Danish arm started in April 2015, when SuperBest and Eurospar shops were rebranded. Meny runs full service supermarkets with a wide range of fresh and higher quality products rather than discount stores.
