Oxbow is a French brand of clothing and sports equipment, created in 1985 in Pont-Audemer in Normandy. It built its position in boardsports and covers five of them: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, snowboarding and skiing. The brand restarted the World Longboard Championship in 1992, runs the Back to Powder winter event and has sponsored athletes such as the surfer Laird Hamilton and the windsurfer Jason Polakow. Since 2005 it has been part of the French group Lafuma.
