Red Star FC is a French football club from Saint-Ouen, on the northern edge of Paris, founded on 21 February 1897 by Jules Rimet, later the founder of the World Cup. It plays at the Stade Bauer, a ground of about 5,600 places, and competes in the French league. The club won the Coupe de France five times, all before 1942. It plays in green and white. Its working-class, left-leaning supporter culture has given it a following well beyond its results.
