SS Lazio is an Italian football club from Rome, founded on 9 January 1900 as an athletics society. It plays at the Stadio Olimpico, a ground of 70,634 places shared with Roma, and competes in Serie A. Lazio have won the Italian championship twice, the Coppa Italia seven times and the Cup Winners' Cup in 1999. It plays in sky blue and white and is nicknamed Le Aquile, the Eagles. Its derby with Roma is the Derby della Capitale.
