Sarpsborg 08 FF is a Norwegian football club from Sarpsborg in Østfold, founded on 15 January 2008 out of a cooperation between several local clubs. It plays at the Sarpsborg Stadion, a ground of 8,022 places, and competes in the Eliteserien. The club reached the Norwegian Cup final in 2015 and the Europa League group stage in 2018. It plays in dark blue and white. The 08 in its name marks the year it was formed, though football in the town goes back much further.
