Saturn is a German chain of electronics stores. Together with Media Markt it makes up Media-Saturn Holding, which belongs to the retail group Ceconomy, spun off from Metro Group in 2017. Its shops sell televisions, computers, phones, white goods and media, and the Hamburg branch is the largest electronics shop in Europe. Saturn became known for a coarse advertising slogan used from 2002 to 2011 that set off a national debate about bargain hunting and the state of the German economy.
