Slovnaft is a Slovak oil refining company based in Bratislava, founded in 1949. Its refinery on the Danube turns crude oil into petrol, diesel, heating oil, lubricants and feedstock for the chemical industry, and the company employs around 3,700 people. It also sells fuel through a network of filling stations under its own name in Slovakia. Slovnaft is a subsidiary of the Hungarian oil and gas group MOL.
