NK Varaždin is a Croatian football club from Varaždin in the north of the country, founded on 1 July 2012 to carry on the football tradition of a city whose earlier club, Varteks, was wound up. It plays at the Stadion Varteks, a ground of 8,818 places, and competes in the Croatian Football League. It plays in white and blue. Varaždin was Croatia's baroque capital for a period in the eighteenth century, and its earlier club reached four Croatian Cup finals.
