Vons is an American supermarket chain trading in southern California and southern Nevada. It was founded in Los Angeles and its shops carry a full grocery range with bakery, dairy, delicatessen, meat, seafood, produce, frozen and general grocery departments as well as a pharmacy, liquor and flowers. The chain belonged to Household Finance Corporation from 1969 to 1986 and to Safeway from 1997, and it has been part of Albertsons since 2015.
