Build-A-Bear Workshop is an American retailer founded in 1997 in St. Louis, Missouri, where customers put together their own stuffed animal in the shop. Visitors pick an unstuffed bear or other animal, have it filled and stitched, and then dress it with clothes and accessories. The company runs stores in North America, the United Kingdom and other markets, usually in shopping centres. Its own lines include Build-A-Dino, Honey Girls, Kabu and Promise Pets.
