Cathay Pacific Airways is the flag carrier of Hong Kong, founded in 1946 and based at Hong Kong International Airport, where its head office stands as Cathay City. Together with its subsidiaries it serves more than 190 destinations in over 60 countries, counting codeshares and joint ventures. Its passenger fleet is made up of Airbus A321neo, A330 and A350 aircraft and Boeing 777s, while Cathay Cargo flies Boeing 747 freighters. Its regional subsidiary Cathay Dragon was shut down in 2020.
