Lenovo is a Chinese multinational technology company, founded in Beijing in 1984 under the name Legend. It has dual global headquarters in Beijing and in Morrisville, North Carolina, and is led by Yang Yuanqing as chairman and chief executive. Lenovo designs and sells personal computers, tablets, smartphones, workstations and servers, and it acquired the personal computer business of IBM, including the ThinkPad line, in 2005. Legend Holdings remains its largest shareholder.
