Oita Trinita is a Japanese football club from Ōita on Kyushu, founded in 1994. It plays at Resonac Dome Ōita, a ground of about 40,000 places, and competes in the J2 League. The club won the J.League Cup in 2008. It plays in blue. Trinita joins the Italian word for trinity, standing for the supporters, the local businesses and the prefectural government that founded the club together.
