Pomme de Pain is a French fast food chain serving traditional French sandwiches and pastries. It was founded in 1980 and today serves more than 12 million customers a year. The chain opened its first restaurant outside France in Casablanca in Morocco in 2008, and added an outlet in Tunis in December 2012. Groupama put the business up for sale in 2011, and after Burger King had considered buying it, it went to the holding company of Alfred Neuhauser.
