Olympique Lyonnais is a French football club from Lyon, founded in 1950. It plays at the Groupama Stadium, a ground of 59,186 places, and competes in Ligue 1. The club won seven consecutive French championships between 2002 and 2008 and reached the Champions League semi-finals three times. It plays in white, red and blue and is known as OL. Its women's team is the most successful in the history of European football.
