Česká pošta, the Czech Post, is the national postal operator of the Czech Republic and is owned by the Czech state. It goes back to 1918, when it was set up as Československá pošta, and it took its present form in 1993 after the split of Czechoslovakia. Its services include letter post, parcel delivery, the international EMS courier service, freight forwarding and third party logistics. The company is based in Prague.
