Cineplexx is a cinema company based in Vienna, Austria, and owned by the Constantin Film-Foundation. It was founded in 1993 and is the largest cinema chain in Austria, where it runs 28 locations spread across the country, most of them multiplexes carrying the Cineplexx name. The company began expanding abroad in 2009 and operated 61 multiplexes in 12 countries as of 2021, among them Croatia and Slovenia, which makes it one of the larger cinema operators in southeastern Europe.
