Humanic, written in capitals as HUMANIC, is an Austrian footwear retailer and a subsidiary of Leder und Schuh, which has its headquarters in Graz. The American Shoe House HUMANIC opened its first two stores in Vienna in 1907, one on Kärntnerring opposite the Hotel Bristol and one on Mariahilferstrasse opposite the Hotel Palace. Today the chain sells shoes and accessories in eleven European countries, and it has had an online shop for Austrian and German customers since March 2009.
