Southwest Airlines is a major American airline with its head office in the Love Field neighbourhood of Dallas, Texas. It was founded in 1967 as Air Southwest and is the fourth largest carrier in North America by passengers carried. It flies an all Boeing 737 fleet to over 100 destinations in 42 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico and ten other countries and territories in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Its logo sets the name in blue beside a heart in yellow, red and blue.
