Walibi is a chain of theme parks in the Benelux countries and France, owned by the French group Compagnie des Alpes. The Dutch park, Walibi Holland, lies at Biddinghuizen in the municipality of Dronten and opened in 1994; between 2000 and 2004 it traded as Six Flags Holland before the Walibi name returned. Its best known ride is Goliath, a steel roller coaster once billed as the fastest, highest and longest in the Benelux. The name Walibi comes from the Belgian towns of Wavre, Limal and Bierges.
