Abercrombie & Fitch is an American clothing retailer founded in 1892 in New York, originally as an outfitter for hunting and expeditions. Since the 1990s it has sold casual clothing aimed at younger buyers, through hundreds of stores in North America, Europe and Asia and through its Hollister brand. The company is headquartered in New Albany, Ohio, and repositioned itself in the 2020s after a long decline.
