Angers SCO, in full Angers Sporting Club de l'Ouest, is a French football club from Angers in the Pays de la Loire, founded in 1919. It plays at the Stade Raymond Kopa, a ground of about 18,750 places named after the France international who began his career in the city, and competes in Ligue 1. The club has spent more than thirty seasons in the top flight and reached the Coupe de France final in 1957 and 2017. It plays in black and white and is nicknamed Le SCO. Its academy has a strong reputation in western France.
