Goodwill Industries International is an American nonprofit organisation, founded in 1902 in Boston, Massachusetts, by the minister Edgar J. Helms. Its focus is vocational rehabilitation for people with disabilities and for others who face barriers to work. Local Goodwill organisations collect donated clothing and household goods and resell them in thrift stores, and the proceeds pay for job training and employment services. The head office is in Rockville, Maryland.
