Lech Poznań is a Polish football club from Poznań, founded on 19 March 1922 and long tied to the state railways. It plays at the Poznań Stadium, a ground of 42,837 places, and competes in the Ekstraklasa. Lech has won the Polish championship nine times and the cup five times. It plays in blue and white and is nicknamed Kolejorz, the railwayman. Its supporters gave European football the Poznań, the celebration of turning away from the pitch arm in arm.
