Yokohama F. Marinos are a Japanese football club from Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, founded in 1972 as the works team of Nissan and a founder member of the J.League in 1993. They play at Nissan Stadium, a ground of 72,327 places, and compete in the J1 League. The Marinos have won five J1 titles. They play in blue, white and red. The F in the name records the 1999 merger with Yokohama Flügels.
