Terms that apply
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the ShowCards mobile app, the ShowCards website, card sharing pages, transfer service, brand catalog, support pages, and related services. If you do not agree, do not use ShowCards.
If you download ShowCards from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store terms also apply. Store terms control store purchases, refunds, downloads, platform account rules, and any other matters that the store requires to be handled under its own terms.
What ShowCards is
ShowCards is a loyalty-card wallet. It helps you store and display loyalty card barcodes, numbers, names, notes, photos, logos, and related settings. ShowCards is not a bank, payment app, gift card issuer, merchant, or loyalty-program operator.
Your loyalty cards remain subject to the terms of the card issuer or merchant. We do not guarantee that a merchant will accept a barcode, card number, or card image shown in the app.
Do not rely on ShowCards as the only copy of any card required for access, travel, identity, payment, health, safety, or emergencies.
Your permission to use ShowCards
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use ShowCards for lawful personal use on devices you own or control. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or distribute the app or service except where allowed by app-store rules or applicable law.
You may not reverse engineer, modify, circumvent security, overload, scrape, misuse APIs, upload harmful code, access data that is not yours, or use ShowCards in a way that breaks the law or harms others.
Your cards and content
You are responsible for the cards, numbers, notes, photos, logos, and other content you add to ShowCards. Only add content that you are allowed to use.
Keep your device, card numbers, backups, passphrases, and share links secure. If another person can access them, they may be able to use the card information they contain.
Brand names, card names, and logos belong to their respective owners. They are used for identification only and do not mean that ShowCards is endorsed by, connected with, or approved by those owners.
Sharing, backups, and transfers
ShowCards can create encrypted backups, transfer files, and share links. You decide where to store or send them.
Anyone with a complete share link, or with a backup or transfer file and the required passphrase or key, may be able to access the data inside. We cannot recover lost passphrases or revoke copies of links or files that you already shared.
The transfer service is intended only to help move encrypted transfer files between your own devices. Transfer links are temporary and may be removed automatically.
Sync and third-party services
If you enable sync, ShowCards may use iCloud, Google Drive app data storage, or other platform services. Those services are provided by third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The app and website may link to or interact with app stores, cloud providers, merchants, loyalty programs, support providers, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, terms, or policies.
Public brand catalog data and logos may come from public sources or third parties. We may change, correct, or remove catalog entries at any time.
Availability and changes
We try to keep ShowCards useful and reliable, but we may change, suspend, or discontinue features, update the brand catalog, enforce technical limits, fix bugs, or remove content at any time.
Some features require a compatible device, operating system, network access, app-store services, or cloud services, and may not be available in every country or language.
Future advertising and offers
ShowCards currently does not show ads. We may add advertisements or offers in the future. If we do, our intention is to keep them contextual and card-level, for example based on the brand, card, or category being viewed, not based on a user profile.
Future advertising or offers must also follow our Privacy Policy, including any update we make before adding new data collection, third-party SDKs, consent flows, or app-store disclosures.
Privacy

Intellectual property
ShowCards, including the app, website, design, software, logo, text, and brand catalog structure, is owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited license above, these terms do not give you ownership of ShowCards or its intellectual property.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you compensation or any other obligation.
No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowCards is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that ShowCards will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, free from data loss, accepted by merchants, or that catalog information will always be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, rejected cards, lost rewards, service interruptions, or problems caused by third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to ShowCards is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for ShowCards in the 12 months before the claim or EUR 50.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights, data protection rights, legal warranties, refund or cancellation rights, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending these terms
You may stop using ShowCards at any time and delete the app from your device. We may suspend or block access to website, transfer, sharing, catalog, or support services if we believe there is misuse, security risk, or a violation of these terms.
Sections that by their nature should continue after your use ends will continue, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability, consumer rights, and contact provisions.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page. For important changes, we will take reasonable steps to make the change clear before it applies.
