Blaublitz Akita is a Japanese football club from Akita, the capital of Akita Prefecture in the north of Honshu, founded in 1965 as the works team of TDK. It plays at the Soyu Stadium and competes in the J2 League. The club turned professional in 2010 and won the J3 League in 2020. It plays in blue. Its name joins the German words for blue and lightning, a nod to the electronics manufacturer that founded it.
