About Caffè Nero

Caffè Nero is a coffee house chain headquartered in London and part of the Nero Group, the largest independent coffee house group in Europe. The business as it is known today was established in 1990 by Gerry Ford, who remains its majority owner and chief executive. It runs more than 1,000 coffee houses in eleven countries, among them the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, Cyprus, Croatia, Turkey and the United States. Since 2009 it has roasted its own coffee at a roastery in Battersea, south London.
