Dundee Football Club is a Scottish club from Dundee, founded in 1893 out of a merger of Dundee East End and Dundee Our Boys. It plays at Dens Park and competes in the Premiership. The club won the Scottish league in 1962 and reached the European Cup semi-finals the following season, and has won the League Cup three times. It plays in dark blue and is nicknamed the Dee or the Dark Blues. Dens Park stands a couple of hundred metres from Dundee United's Tannadice, the closest pair of senior grounds in Britain.
