About Five Guys

Five Guys is an American fast food chain founded in 1986 in Arlington, Virginia, by Jerry Murrell and his sons, and it is still owned by the Murrell family. Its restaurants serve hamburgers, hot dogs and fries cooked to order, with a long list of toppings included in the price and free peanuts for waiting customers. The chain began franchising in 2003 and has spread well beyond the United States, trading in countries including Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
