SC Freiburg is a German football club from Freiburg im Breisgau in Baden-Württemberg, founded on 30 May 1904. It plays at the Europa-Park Stadion, a ground of 34,700 places opened in 2021, and competes in the Bundesliga. The club is known for exceptional continuity in the dugout: Volker Finke managed it for sixteen years and Christian Streich for twelve, a rarity in modern football. It plays in red and black. Its ground was among the first in Germany to be substantially powered by solar panels.
