Holland Casino is a Dutch state owned company that holds the legal monopoly on casino gambling in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1976, when the first casino opened in Zandvoort, and it runs thirteen casinos spread across the country. Its profits go straight to the Dutch treasury and came to around 267 million euros in 2007 and 263 million in 2006. Holland Casino has also offered online gambling since October 2021, and the original Zandvoort casino closed in February 2025 as unprofitable.
