Hugendubel is a German bookshop chain and, along with Thalia, one of the two major book retailers in Germany. It was founded in Munich in 1893 by Heinrich Karl Gustav Hugendubel and is still in the hands of the founding family. Nina Hugendubel and Maximilian Hugendubel run the company together with Ekkehard Lux, Thomas Nitz and Torsten Brunn. The chain sells books through its stores and through its website hugendubel.de.
