KuPS, in full Kuopion Palloseura, is a Finnish football club from Kuopio in the eastern lake district, founded in 1923. It plays at the Väre Areena, a ground of about 5,000 places, and competes in the Veikkausliiga. The club has won eight Finnish championships, the first in 1956 and the most recent in 2024, and the Finnish Cup three times. It plays in yellow and black. After decades in the lower divisions it rebuilt from the 2010s into one of the strongest sides in the country.
