Mercator is a Slovenian retail group whose name is Latin for merchant. It is one of the largest companies in Slovenia by annual revenue and runs a network of supermarkets and hypermarkets selling everyday consumer goods. Besides Slovenia the group trades in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, and it carries own brands such as Lumpi, Minute and Bio Zone. Since 2021 it has been wholly owned by the Croatian company Fortenova Group.
