About MS Mode

MS Mode is a Dutch fashion retailer selling women's clothing in sizes 38 to 54, at the same price across the whole size range. It was founded by Max Abram, whose business began on the Albert Cuyp market in Amsterdam, with the first proper shop opening in Rotterdam in 1964 as Mantel Specialist, selling only ladies' coats. The chain was once called M&S, but changed its name because of confusion with the British retailer Marks & Spencer. It has run more than two hundred stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Luxembourg.
