Newcastle United Football Club is an English club from Newcastle upon Tyne, founded on 15 November 1881 and under its present name since 1892. It plays at St James' Park, a ground of about 52,000 places in the middle of the city, and competes in the Premier League. The club has won four league titles, six FA Cups and the League Cup in 2025, its first domestic trophy in seventy years. It plays in black and white stripes and is nicknamed the Magpies.
