About Promod

Promod is a French retailer of women's ready to wear clothing, trading in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg. It was founded as a family boutique in 1975 by Francis-Charles Pollet, an heir of the founder of La Redoute, where he had spent the first part of his career, and the Pollet family still owns the company. The brand traded only in France and Belgium until 1990, when it began to expand abroad with a subsidiary in Spain. Its clothes are sold in its own shops and in concessions inside larger stores.
