Stade Lavallois is a French football club from Laval in Mayenne, founded on 17 July 1902. It plays at the Stade Francis Le Basser, a ground of 11,107 places, and competes in Ligue 2. The club spent thirteen consecutive seasons in Ligue 1 between 1976 and 1989. It plays in orange and is nicknamed Les Tango. Laval is a town of some fifty thousand in western France, between Rennes and Le Mans.
