Torino FC is an Italian football club from Turin, founded in 1906. It plays at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, a ground of about 28,000 places, and competes in Serie A. Torino won seven Italian championships, five of them in a row in the 1940s with the Grande Torino side that was lost in the Superga air crash of 1949. It plays in maroon and is nicknamed Il Toro, the Bull, after the animal in the city's arms. Its derby with Juventus is the oldest in Italy.
